Peer reviews
The BLA held the a Health & Safety Peer Review session at the Lhoist site at Hindlow, Derbyshire. 13 attendees - Senior Operators, H&S staff from all members companies and BLA representatives - were present.
Following a site walk around the plant, the attendees compared notes and fed back their observations as part of a collective learning experience.
The aim is to have such peer reviews at all member sites as part of the BLA drive to continually improve H&S measures throughout the sector. The below document highlights the good practices discussed during the session:
