Almost 100 Delegates Attend 'Lime in Construction' Seminar

The BLA held a very successful seminar on Thursday 24th October at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium in London.

The programme for the morning covered soil remediation and stabilisation and presentations were given by the National House-Building Council, Britpave and relevant contractors.

The afternoon session covered the use of lime in hydraulic road binders and asphalt and speakers from WRAP, URS and Nottingham University gave very interesting presentations. A representative from the European Lime Association also attended and gave a valuable European perspective.

Feedback on the event has been very positive so far and the presentations from the day can be viewed here.
